Egg Cartons? Any Ideas
I have been saving styrofoam egg cartons for a while now. Somehow I feel that they might have some use. I have a whole stack. Sure I could put beads or hardware or office supplies in them, but I can’t help feeling that I could find a better use for them. Anyone have any ideas? I’m curious to see what everyone comes up with!

Well, if you don’t want to keep them for yourself, and would rather give them away, here in South Africa I know some pre primary schools use egg cartons for putting different colour powder paints in at art time. Egg cartons are also useful for many craft ideas, such as cutting off the cups to make feet and a nose on a paper mache piggy bank money box.
I think I even saw in some off beat magazine once, that they were used – plenty of them – to line an entire wall instead of wallpaper as decor in a ultra modern sitting room!

It’s funny that you said you saw a wall lined with them, that’s what my husband suggested I do with them. I’m usually good coming up with offbeat ideas. Thanks for your input.
