“Moving Pictures”

Written on May 26, 2010 – 7:05 pm | by Diane |

It’s pretty amazing how far we’ve come with “moving pictures.” My sister had converted my dad’s 8mm movies to VHS some time ago and recently, I’ve been converting all of my VHS to DVD’s. When I was watching, through teary eyes, it actually didn’t make a difference that the picture was jumpy, that there was no sound and that the strobe light that my dad used made us all squint. It’s the moments captured that are what is worth saving, no matter the quality. Although, it seems that having the latest camcorder had been a priority, I’ve realized that no matter how those memories are preserved and recorded, they will be a joy to watch and remember.
